Can I pay part of my bill now and part later?

Yes. Please call the phone number listed on your statement and a Billing Specialist will help you create a payment plan.

My insurance company was supposed to cover the full cost; why didn’t they?

There can be many reasons that your insurance company didn’t cover the full amount of your bill, including deductibles, co-pays, or even incorrect personal information. If you feel that there is a mistake on your bill, please call the number listed on your statement and a PBS billing specialist will be happy to look into it.

Why did I get two or three different bills for the same procedure?

Statements are sent on a set schedule and it is possible to receive multiple copies of the same statement.

Can I still visit my physician while I owe money?

Yes, your medical well-being is of utmost importance to your physician. Please don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment regardless of your account status.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, you can pay with a credit card online by following the link  on your statement. If you do not have online access, please call the phone number listed on your statement and a billing specialist will assist you.

Whom do I contact to make payment arrangements?

You can pay online with a credit card by following the link on your statement or you can call the number listed on your statement to make a payment over the phone. If you would rather pay with a check, please follow the instructions on your statement.

Can I just pay my physician directly?

Payments must be made according to the instructions on your billing statement.

Can I contact my insurance carrier to dispute the charge? What information do I need?

Yes, you can contact your insurance carrier or you can call the phone number on your statement and a billing specialist will assist you. It always expedites matters when you have your bill and insurance information in hand.
